Softly blows the summer breeze
Blowing east to west
It draws me in to finer things
The season that is best
The sun sits high up in the sky
There’s laughter down below
The greatest season of them all
Arrives with much joy to bestow
Softly blows the summer breeze
Blowing east to west
It draws me in to finer things
The season that is best
The sun sits high up in the sky
There’s laughter down below
The greatest season of them all
Arrives with much joy to bestow
Slowly softly raindrops fall
Upon this spring day
At first a sprinkle
A mist
‘Spitting’
Then the shower
Then the downpour
The downpour is the
Best of all
For it blurs and mars
The world outside
The modern evils
The 21st century disaster
And takes us back
To a time forgotten
When the power is lost
And we are all cut off
We made our own entertainment
Like the olden days
Nostalgia for some
New experiences for others
I wish everyday it stormed
Time shall tell what we don’t know
Time shall tell us where to go
Time shall tell us right or wrong
Time tells what we knew all along
Time can make the whole world change
Time can make the world look strange
Time can make the world seem mean
Time can seem an age between
Time will show you who you love
Time shall show life is enough
A daffodil inside a pot. Yellow. Orange. Green.
Excitement comes and fills me up for beauty I have seen.
Yes spring is here and all’s in bloom
And I know that summers here soon
The sheep they bleat out in the fields
And the fields began to show their yields
And beauty resonates all around
There's happiness when spring comes to town
